    Wouldn’t it be sweet if you could steam music wirelessly through your house using your existing wi-fi network? You should be able to soon since Avega (an Australian startup) is licensing its proprietary technology to speaker manufacturers. Expect to see this stuff hit the shelves sometime in 2007.

      This is some awesome technology. Wireless networks are in pretty much every house and apartment. Streaming wireless music over the same distribution platform is pretty cool. If my neighbor gets an Avega Wireless system and I get the a 3rd party proprietary tech signal receiver- could I listen to the same music as the person I steal internet from?

      Too bad my room-mates only listen to death metal and not Joanie Mitchel.
